A Little Background ............

I thought it would be helpful if I posted a little background on how my husband and I became involved in the swinging universe. Or you may hear it referred to as the "lifestyle". My husband and I have been together six years and married for four. I knew when we got married, that my husband had been a swinger, but I never really considered the idea that we would explore it together. After all, I was from the midwest, the bible belt - when you get married, that's it - you are now in a monogamous relationship (for better or worse). It's not uncommon for couples from the bible belt to go to the wedding bed as virgins and never experience another sexual partner. This is not my first marriage, so obviously I was not going to the wedding bed a virgin, but I was perfectly ok with the idea of monogamy. In fact the idea of swinging was unthinkable. How would it ever be possible to just casually have sex with another couple? It wasn't something I could wrap my brain around and so it was for two years into our marriage .......................
